What this is

Real Talk Session, The Thread, The Deep Work, are conversation-based sessions with Daren Thomas Magee. They are a space for thinking out loud with a creative partner — not a clinical service.

What this isn't

This is not therapy, counseling, or any form of licensed mental health treatment. Daren is not a licensed clinician and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. These sessions are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room. You must be 18 or older to book.

Booking & Payment

Single sessions (Real Talk Session) are paid in full at the time of booking.

Multi-session plans (The Thread, The Deep Work, The Full Immersion) are billed as subscriptions with a fixed number of payments, disclosed at checkout. All session credits for the plan are issued after your first payment. Remaining payments are automatically charged on the schedule shown at purchase, and cannot be canceled until the plan is paid in full.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Sessions canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice may be moved to a new time at no charge. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited and are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Session Credit Expiration

Credits issued under a subscription plan are valid through the end of that plan's billing term and do not roll over, extend, or transfer once the plan concludes.

Refunds

Payments already made are non-refundable, including for sessions forfeited under the cancellation policy above. If you believe there's been a billing error, reach out directly and it will be looked at in good faith.

Confidentiality

What's discussed in a session stays between us. This is a personal commitment, not a clinical or legal privilege — it does not carry the same legal protections as licensed therapy.

Conduct

Sessions are a space for honest conversation. Daren reserves the right to end a session or decline future bookings in cases of abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior, without refund for the forfeited time.

Limitation of Liability

Daren Thomas Magee provides these sessions as a thinking and creative partner, not as a licensed professional service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daren is not liable for outcomes, decisions, or actions taken as a result of these conversations.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
