Hi, Im Daren Thomas Magee, an artist, writer, speaker, and creator living in Ojai. I blend blunt honesty, humor, and existential reflection with visual art, exploring creativity, mortality, love, anxiety, self-responsibility, and what it means to be a human being trying to make something real in a noisy world.

Through art, writing, videos, live talks, and conversations, I’ve been lucky enough to have built a devoted audience who come for the laughs and stay because I make them think , and occasionally feel a little less alone. My work lives at the intersection of cynicism and hope: equal parts "we're all going to die" and "yeah, but make something beautiful anyway."

I am the creator of Real Fun, Wow!, I write regularly on Substack, I host conversations and Real Talk sessions, and I speak openly about art, business, relationships, fatherhood, mental health, uncertainty, and the strange experience of being alive.

At the core of everything what I try to create is a simple belief: nobody is coming to save you, but that doesn't mean life can't be meaningful, funny, profound, and deeply worth participating in.
